Thallo was established as a Non-Profit Civil Company in 2024, with a central focus on the holistic support of children, adolescents, and young people, aiming to promote their health and safeguard their well-being

The core of our vision is the protection and promotion of children’s rights as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child

At Thallo, we believe that every child and adolescent deserves to grow up in an environment that fosters their mental health and well-being

According to Greek mythology, Thallo was one of the three or six Horae of the “first generation”, which were worshipped from the most ancient times in Athens, as Pausanias writes (A’ 35, 2). Thallo is also referred to as Thalatte, and was a deity of spring and young shoots (and consequently of adolescents). Athenian teenagers in particular specifically invoked Thallus when they took their oath of “citizen and soldier” after turning 17, in the temple of Agravulo, on the slope of the Acropolis

Our Vision

With the aim of empowering young people and supporting them during challenging times, we offer specialized counseling and psychotherapy services for children, adolescents, young people, and their families

We envision a social framework where every child, adolescent, and young person has the opportunity to fully develop their potential, enjoying health, well-being, and safety through comprehensive and innovative services in mental and physical health, education, and social empowerment

In this direction, ensuring equal rights and opportunities, respecting diversity, fostering inclusion and social integration, encouraging participation, and promoting empowerment, constitute our core values. These principles aim to support the holistic development of their personality and the realization of their potential

Our Mission

To achieve our vision, our mission focuses on a multi-level intervention addressing all socialization contexts of the target group (family, school, community). This approach aims to enable the timely identification and effective management of any deviations or dysfunctions, and particularly of high-risk behaviors
